ABOUT US
Essex Lionesses Academy is a place for all female players to experience elite football coaching.
Founded by three experienced coaches in 2022, we are on a mission to support female players at all levels on the player pathway to maximise their enjoyment, progress and performance in football.

We work alongside clubs to support players to realise their potential and grow their love of the sport for lifelong participation.
​
We are passionate about growing the girls' game from grassroots to international level and providing a platform for players to access technical, tactical and physical development opportunities which they can take back to their club.
OUR COACHES:
SIMON KING
Simon has worked in the girls game for many years at Essex Regional Talent club, starting out as Under 9's coach before working with various age groups.
​
Now working as Essex RTC Technical Director, he has also coached at England Performance Camps and is an FA UEFA C Coach developer.
​
Simon is passionate about the growth of the girls' game and is proud to have worked with players as they progress from grassroots to England.

KEVIN BAKER
Kevin is passionate about developing the girls game and giving players of all ability the opportunity to excel.

He has worked for Essex and Arsenal Regional Talent Clubs as well as coaching at England Performance Camps and various boys teams including Southend United.
​
Kevin has supported many players progress from grassroots to England national selection.

DANNY PARKER
Danny is a (self-proclaimed) all around legend.
​
He has coached football to varying age groups and abilities since his teen years, and has coached in the elite girls game for 9 years with Essex Regional Talent Club.
